The Illinois app is a valuable tool for making the most of your time at the university. Ride the bus off-campus with the digital pass, consult maps to locate the shortest route to class or an event, join a group, or access your University Housing meal plan. This official university app is built and developed on the Urbana-Champaign campus by the Illinois App Collective—specialists in science, computing, design, wellness, and the humanities—as part of the Rokwire open source platform project.

App Status
- Map functionality is temporarily limited. The team is working to restore full functionality as quickly as possible.
- Users are being logged out and are having issues logging back in. The team is investigating.
- When accessing the app via Microsoft Edge on a Windows laptop or desktop computer, some users are unable to upload images when creating new events, groups, or posts. The temporary fix is to use Chrome.
- The Laundry feature is unavailable while it is being modified to work with the washers and dryers that were upgraded in summer 2026. There is currently no set completion date.
